Call for plastic artists and musicians for Day of the Dead

Day of the Dead, perhaps the most iconic of the traditions in Mexico arrives in Australia, where colors, aromas, food, music, and art will gather in a celebration. Here we will honor our loved ones who have left this world, and we will share our culture with this beautiful country and Australians who have opened the doors to us. The Art Gallery of Ballarat, who is hosting this event, seeks to create awareness of how Mexicans celebrate this day. That’s the reason why we are inviting plastic artists to make proposals and designs for the Ofrenda to be installed in the event.

We also want to create a festive environment to connect with one of the most joyful elements of this celebration: Music. For this reason, we are calling musicians who want to be part of this event by performing latin rythms.
